  • If your account has no registered email, you must check dashboard alerts yourself for Terms updates and other important notices.
  • Responsibility and rights for connected websites, content, and visitor data processing rest with you as the user.
  • Serious criminal content such as CSAM, fraud, terrorism, and contract killing is now explicitly banned in the Terms. Similar bans on illegal content were already in the previous version.
  • PrivateStater will not suspend accounts, delete content, or disclose information based on third-party requests that lack legal force.
  • Beyond that, the rest of the Terms was revised throughout for clarity and accuracy.

  • Requests for someone else's personal data are refused unless the law requires disclosure. User privacy and freedom come first.
  • When disclosure is legally required, PrivateStater keeps the scope as narrow as possible and notifies affected users when feasible.
  • After such requests, the transparency report and warrant canary at /privacy are updated when legally allowed. This was already happening; it is now written into the policy.
